Operation L.E.O. - Search Engine Marketing

Companies that specialize in SEO, or "Search Engine Optimization" can charge hundreds of dollars per month to "get your site on Google's front page". They take advantage of many tactics that do, indeed work.

However, these services are best suited to clients who have a "National Reach".

For example, if you're a company looking to sell products online, you're wanting to get traffic to your site from anywhere that is somewhere you'll ship to. So, a customer from Dallas, TX is just as great as one from Dallas, NC.

Now, if your someone such as Advanced Appliance Service or Carolina Wood Fence, with a Charlotte metro service area, site visitors from Dallas TX just aren't all that helpful to the bottom line.

So, this is where we come in! We've done months of research, looking at all of the options available to make sure that a local company can be found online locally. The big search engines are doing their part, and many "online yellow page" sites are making waves as useful sources of traffic. Some sites are going even farther, giving you a business "social network" site allowing for numerous additional opportunities to reach potential customers.

Restaurants and Other Specific Industries Have Even More Opportunities to Promote Their Businesses Online!

The Deal:

We'll custom-submit/edit/enhance your business information to all 3 main search engine's "Local" sections. Each allows for photos, videos, hours of operation, payment types accepted etc. This puts you on top of the "organic listings" for searches done in your area.

So, if you're in Cornelius and search for "tree service", you'll see Joy's Tree Service in Google right beside the map (listed as "D" when we checked). You'll also find their site as the #1 listing below the map.

In the same search, most of the results that come up are from the "online yellow pages" site we mentioned. So, we have the opportunity to help the client further by ensuring that they are also listed in these sites as well.

We've compiled a list of the 30 most effective "yellow pages" sites and will also custom submit/edit and enhance your listing with those as well.

The fact is, chances are some of your business information is already showing up on many of these sites. However, it's probably the most basic information only and may not even be correct. In addition, some sites use your business information to drive traffic to your competitiors who have "claimed" their listing while you haven't.

Why is This Needed?

Even with the internet being as popular as it is today, some business owners still don't realize the importance of having an online presence. The fact is, for a small business, we would rank the local engine marketing more important than having a stand-alone web site. We do feel that every small business should have a web site but without the proper marketing the world's best looking web site will never be found by potential customers.

Don't Have a Web Site? We can include a domain name registration and build/host a web site for as little as $100/Year

Each year, less and less people depend on printed Yellow Page directories and turn to the internet. In fact, having your business information updated in these National directory sites helps ensure that you are found in mobile devices and in GPS systems as well.

Operation L.E.O. - The Process

Note: We have no control over how fast each Search Engine or Directory will update and include the information we submit to them. We will provide any stated information from each to our clients to give them the best idea of what timeframe to expect.

Once contracted, we'll begin by scheduling a time to meet at your location for approximately an hour. During this time we'll gather all of the information we'll need to start submitting your business to the SE's and directories. This information includes what categories and sub-categories your business fall under, hours of operation, brands carried, photos and video clips (such as commercials), any online coupons you'd like to have created, etc.

It typically takes us about a week to submit your information to all sites. Some sites require additional verification such as Google Local requires an automated call to the business phone number to verify it's correct. We'll coordinate all of these items with you as we move along.

You'll have a special email address created that you will have access to, which will be used to handle all site registrations. This gives you an easy way to verify each site submission as well as any usernames/passwords for each. By not using your regular email address, this also stops us and you from dealing with any unnecesary spam that might would result from these site submissions.

Once submissions are complete, we'll sit down with you and provide a custom report with all of the site's we submitted to and any additional information specific to each. If you have a current web site and access to your web stats, we'll help show you what to look for to see where your traffic is coming from. If you have us build your web site full web stats and Google Analytics are provided.

Your contract allows for 4 updates (1 update each 3 months for a year). At that time you'll have an opportunity to renew annually as a way to ensure that all of your business information is kept current.

Operation L.E.O. - Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Guarantee #1 Placement in the Search Engines?

No. We will do everything possible to get you the best ranking possible. With localized results, many times ranking order is sorted geographically based on the IP address of the location where the person is doing the web search. Geolocation is also not an exact science (ever notice a banner ad that said "meet singles in ...." and the city it says is 50 miles away? That shows the geolocator for your IP is off that much.

Other factors also apply on various sites such as where some may have "sponsored listings" that show up first. Some city-based directories will sort alphabetically or even randomly. That's why the saturation of the results is so important. If you aren't sure 1 dart will his the bullseye, than it's better to have more darts to throw.
